Chief Executive Officer – Carole MarshallTwenty-years as an active manager with 5 years as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. Carole is active in the daily running of the business with a main focus on the administration, planning and finances of Traffic Scan Network, Inc. Carole has an intimate knowledge of corporate tax law, personnel law, workman’s compensation laws, payroll management and E.E.O.C. laws & procedures.
President & General Manager – Johnny Ahysen
Johnny has 31 years in radio & television broadcasting. Prior to coming to Traffic Scan Network, Inc. in the fall of 1996, Johnny served as Corporate Director of Programming for Baton Rouge Broadcasting managing stations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; El Paso, Texas and Jackson, Mississippi. Johnny’s television experience includes both sides of the camera with 3-years at KFDM-TV Channel 6 (CBS) in Beaumont, Texas in production, countless hours volunteering in the production department during fund-raising events at WLPB-TV, Louisiana Public Television, and fill-in news anchor on WAFB-TV Channel 9 (CBS) in Baton Rouge. Johnny’s activities in his 10-years at Traffic Scan Network, Inc. include Director of Programming, Director of Sales and for the last 4 years as President & General Manager. In addition to his current management responsibilities, Johnny is the morning television anchor for one of Traffic Scan Networks’ Baton Rouge affiliates WAFB-TV Channel 9 (CBS) as on-camera traffic watch reporter.
National Sales Manager – Deborah Todd
Deborah has been with Traffic Scan Network, Inc. for 6 years. Deborah’s 30 year broadcast management & sales experience includes positions in the highly competitive markets of New York and Los Angeles. Deborah has held executive positions with Roslin Radio and Television Sales a national rep firm. Her duties included handling national accounts in multiple Top 100 markets. Deborah began her career at WCCC AM/FM and WTIC AM in Hartford, CT.
Chief Financial Officer – Scott Higgins
Scott interned for Traffic Scan Network, Inc. for just under two years while completing his undergraduate degree in Marketing & Finance at the E.J. Ourso College of Business, Louisiana State University, Baton
Rouge. After graduation, Scott was hired by a financial planning firm in New Orleans. With his investment and finance experience, Scott re-joined our team in 2006 as Chief Financial Officer and Director of New Business Development.
Executive Producer & General Manager, Television – Jason Ourso
Jason is a television director, producer, graphic designer, camera man, sound man, and computer operator. Jason has a comprehensive understanding of how to design and “build” a television studio from inception to air. Jason extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro and many other video editing software suites as well as graphic design experience utilizing Photoshop.
Former Chairman & CEO Emeritus – John Marshall
With over 25 years of experience in the Traffic Reporting industry John was one of three friends that started Traffic Scan Network, Inc. While semi-retired, John is our spiritual leader and the entrepreneurial spirit of Traffic Scan Network. The culmination of LA Media, LLC and WAFB-TV Channel 9 (CBS) as partners in the Traffic Scan family is another of John’s visions coming to fruition.
Active Board Member and Legal Consultant – Jonathan Marshall
Jonathan is a Partner in Marshall, Wight, LLC; an entertainment law firm in Los Angeles, CA. Jonathan was an active participant in Traffic Scan Network, Inc. in the early years, leaving the his daily activities upon graduating from Tulane Law. He has been a board member since the inception and the active legal consultant to this day.
